We exhibited demos from Text2Texture at the Henry Art Gallery’s Open House. Text2Texture translates 2D images into 3D Models to convey both height and textures of the underlying image. The first paper, Wirebend-kit, details an end-to-end system for designing and fabricating aluminum wireframes. The second, MechStyle, uses GenAI and FEA to stylize 3D printable models while preserving their structural integrity.
